The eagerly awaited movie featuring actor Prabhas, named 'The Raja Saab', is currently in the last phase of its making. The film crew is traveling to Europe to film two significant musical scenes. Once they complete this, the main filming will wrap up. SKN, the creative producer, provided an update on social media. He shared a photo with director Maruthi on his Instagram story. The caption said, "Heading to Europe with my favorite Director saab @director_maruthi for therajasaab." The creators had previously built excitement among fans by unveiling the trailer for the film.
It began with Prabhas in a hypnotist's room, accompanied by the classic tune of Bappi Lahiri and Usha Uthup. The narrative then transitioned into a blend of romance, comedy, and supernatural thrills. It showcased haunted houses, unusual beings, and quirky situations. The trailer also revealed Sanjay Dutt in a mysterious part, which Boman Irani described as an "exorcist, psychiatrist, and hypnotist." Prabhas is seen gearing up to confront this puzzling character, with the preview hinting at humor and tension.
It concluded with Prabhas appearing older, playing his grandfather, alongside seasoned actress Zarina Wahab as his grandmother. Directed and written by Maruthi, 'The Raja Saab' is produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment. The cast features Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, and several other well-known actors. The movie will be released in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The soundtrack is composed by Thaman, while Karthik Palani handles the cinematography, and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is in charge of editing.
This project follows Prabhas's role in the sci-fi film 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Now, the combination of genres and a talented cast has created significant interest for 'The Raja Saab' as production approaches its end in Europe. It is set to hit theaters globally on January 9, 2025.
