On Thursday, India saw the debut of the Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G, which was launched alongside the standard Oppo Reno 14 5G model. The Pro version boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, while its standard counterpart features a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 system-on-chip. The base model is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, whereas the Pro version offers a more robust 6,200mAh battery and supports fast charging at 80W. Each phone includes a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies. It is worth mentioning that both the Reno 14 Pro and Reno 14 were first introduced in China back in May. The starting price for the Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G in India is Rs. 49,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 512GB option is priced at Rs. 54,999. Available colors include Pearl White and Titanium Grey. In contrast, the Oppo Reno 14 5G begins at Rs. 37,999 for the base 8GB + 256GB model, with the higher capacity options costing Rs. 39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant and Rs. 42,999 for the 12GB + 512GB option. It can be found in Forest Green and Pearl White hues.
Starting from July 8, the Oppo Reno 14 5G series will be purchasable through the Oppo India website, Amazon, and select retail locations across the country. The Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G is equipped with a 6.83-inch 1.5K (1,272x2,800 pixels) LTPS OLED screen that offers an impressive 120Hz refresh rate and brightness levels reaching up to 1,200 nits, all safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The phone features splash resistance and can be operated while wearing gloves. It operates on a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC, combined with 12GB of RAM and storage options that go up to 512GB. Running on Android 15 with ColorOS 15.0.2 out of the box, the device includes Google Gemini support along with other AI functionalities such as AI Unblur, AI Recompose, AI Call Assistant, and AI Mind Space. For photography enthusiasts, the Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G is equipped with a primary rear sensor of 50 megapixels and a periscope telephoto lens delivering 50 megapixels, offering up to 3.5x optical zoom with optical image stabilization (OIS). They are capable of 4K HDR video recording at 60 frames per second. Additionally, the rear setup is complemented by a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera. On the front, a 50-megapixel camera is dedicated to selfies and video calls.

The Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G is equipped with a robust 6,200mAh battery that offers 80W SuperVOOC and 50W AirVOOC fast charging capabilities. In terms of connectivity, the device supports dual nano-SIM slots along with eSIM functionality, and it is compatible with 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and includes a USB Type-C port. Additionally, it is designed with dual stereo speakers and features an optical fingerprint sensor located beneath the display. The smartphone reportedly fulfills IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards for dust and water resistance. With a total weight of 201g, the Titanium Grey version measures 163.35mm by 76.98mm and has a thickness of 7.48mm, while the Pearl White model is slightly thicker at 7.58mm.
On the other hand, the standard Oppo Reno 14 5G comes with a slightly smaller 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED screen. This version is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor and has a slightly lesser 6,000mAh battery featuring 80W SuperVOOC charging. It’s important to note that this model does not include support for wireless charging, unlike its Pro counterpart. The operating system, construction, and connection features remain the same as those found in the Pro model. While the camera configurations are similar, the standard model substitutes the 50-megapixel ultrawide lens for an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.
