A five-year-old Indian girl dies after falling down from an eighth floor of the Tecom Noor 1 building in Dubai. The building authority provided security camera footage to the police.
Gulf News reported that, a security guard said that, the victim was a curious youngster and very sociable. “She was a very clever child, always saying hello and asking questions of the people around her,” he said. “It is very sad for the parents to lose such a bright daughter.”
Major General Khalil Ebrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant to the Dubai Police Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, said that, “Two girls were sleeping and when the younger girl woke up, the maid took her down to a nearby park to play. The victim then woke up, did not find anyone in the house and found one of the windows open and attempted to look down and fell.”
“Our prayers are with the parents today to give them strength for such a terrible loss,” he said.
