Sonam Wangchuk and Indian engineer from Ladakh has been garnering a lot of attention over his Boycott China movement online. After posting 3 videos on his channel he has been getting an overwhelming response from the citizens of the country.

Sonam Wangchuk is an Indian engineer, innovator, an environmentalist and an education reformist. His main focus has always been education system and education the deserving. He also founded his own system called the Students Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh.

Recently around 3 weeks ago he posted a video explaining the China trap to the citizens in simple terms. In his videos he explained that the Indian army has been fighting China with bullets trying to invade the borders. He also explains how common people can use their wallets in this movement to fight against China.

China imports to India are about 5 lack crore and our exports to China are just 4 Lakh crore. There is 5 times difference in the trade deficit. Sonam Wangchuk appeal to the citizens of the country to Boycott made in China products to stop the China trap all over Asia and the world. This is a small step towards making India self-reliant and the helping India in increasing the growth and economy of the country.

After his first video went viral in the country, he became the leading voice in the boycott China movement in the country. His third video title’ Cheen ko jawab Part-3’ was a tribute the Indian soldiers who were martyred in the Galwan valley face-off. 20 soldiers were killed by the Chinese troops who did not stand by their de-escalation decision and started attacking the soldiers of our country. In his third video which came the day after the 20 soldiers were killed, Sonam Wangchuk appealed to the public and citizens of the country to bring more solutions to fight against the dominance of Chinese products in the Indian market. He explained how the people of china are not the problem but it is the government who controls the entire media and that’s the reason we have no correct answer from china about the casualties on their side.

Chinese soldiers fraudulently attacked the Indian army in the dark without any warning and that’s the reason they are not announcing the number of casualties on their side of the war.

Wangchuk who was the inspiration behind Aamir Khan’s character in the movie 3 Idiots also mentions that the Chinese dominance in the Indian markets is the reason why Indian manufacturing is not blooming. He also compared the Boycott made in China movement to the treatment of Cancer that ‘it will be painful in the start, but we will be free from the malady of Chinese dependency in the coming years.’

Sonam Wangchuk has been getting a great response from the public and as well as huge companies. Amul recently posted an advertisement on this Boycott China movement, Google play store has come up with apps to remove Chinese software and there has been a Global times report on the Indian consumers. Wangchuk says he is overwhelmed by the response and that ‘our medicine is hitting the right spots.’
