PM Modi tweets "More Power To India-US Friendship"

US President Donald Trump is providing his assistance for India to fight against COVID-19. He tweeted saying, the US will be donating ventilators to India for coronavirus treatment. In reply to Trump’s tweet PM Modi said “More Power To India-US friendship.”

Donald Trump tweeted “I am proud to announce that the United States will donate ventilators to our friends in India," Donald Trump had tweeted.”

For Trump's tweet PM Modi replied “Thank you @POTUS @realDonaldTrump. This pandemic is being fought collectively by all of us. In such times, it's always important for nations to work together and do as much as possible to make our world healthier and free from COVID-19, PM Modi tweeted.”

The ventilators are come in use to save lives of the coronavirus effected people. When the virus attacks the lungs, ventilators help to breathe in place of lungs.

Trump also confirmed in his tweet about COVID-19 vaccine. India and the US joined hands to develop a vaccine and it is a much awaited confirmation.

World reached 45 lakh coronavirus positive patients since the initial outbreak of it from China.

Kayleigh McEnany, the Press Secretary of White House said- India is one of the many countries that will get ventilators from the US. There is no official confirmation on how many ventilators will be sent.

Recently, President Trump appreciated India for exporting 50 million hydroxychloroquine medicines to treat the COVID-19 patients.
