World’s first nature-inspired mall to be opened in Dubai!

The world's first nature-inspired mall is all set to be opened in Dubai by the Cityland Group, a company behind the Dubai Butterfly Garden and Dubai Miracle Garden.

According to the company's statement, the Dh1.1 billion Cityland Mall is expected to be inaugurated in the second quarter of 2018 next to Global Village on Shaikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road.

The chief executive and board member at Cityland Group, Fahimuddin Sharfuddin, said that, “The mall guarantees an immersive experience for all members of the family, led by a strong selection of renowned fashion retailers, convenience store, cinema theatre and dining options that are both internationally reputed and locally popular.”

The 2.2 million square foot mall will include a 200,000 sqft open-air garden 'Central Park'. It is the mall’s central attraction. It will also feature the mini-Miracle Garden, mini-water park, a 300-year-old ancient tree garden, 360-degree rooftop garden, Japanese garden, an al fresco cafes and a cluster of restaurants.

It will also feature a 3,000-seat amphitheatre and a miniature amphitheatre for children, which will provide a platform for performing arts throughout the year.

Abdel Naser Rahhal, Vice-Chairman, Cityland Group, said that, “A central attraction within the mall, access to the park will be free of charge, and will ensure repeat visits.”
