Superstar Mahesh Babu is shooting for his next film Maharshi which is an emotional family drama directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The movie hits the screens during summer and is produced by Dil Raju, PVP and Ashwini Dutt. Mahesh after the super success of Rangasthalam asked Sukumar to come up with an interesting script to join hands. It has been over ten months and Sukumar is yet to complete the draft and narrate it to Superstar.

With Sukumar yet to complete the script, Mahesh is in plans to team up with a young director. In this process, Anil Ravipudi met Mahesh and narrated a mass story that impressed the actor big time. The actor stepped out with an immediate nod and asked Anil to complete the script work at the earlist and narrate him the script. As per the update, the regular shoot commences from the last week of June and the film will release during Sankranthi next year. AK Entertainments and G Mahesh Babu Entertainments are the producers.
