Tollywood has several legendary producers but Mega filmmaker Allu Aravind holds a special place among them. He was introduced as the son of legendary actor Allu Ramalingaiah but was focused on all the crafts and settled as one of the renowned producers of Indian cinema. Going with the trend, he is one of the most successful producer of Tollywood. Though he initially tested his luck as an actor, he soon floated Geetha Arts and started producing films. His association with Megastar Chiranjeevi is remarkable and Allu Aravind produced super hit films like Vijetha, Athaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu, Pasivadi Pranam, Rowdy Alludu and the list goes on.
His association with Mega family got extended after he started producing films with Ram Charan, Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej. He even introduced his son Allu Arjun as an actor who is one of the leading actors of Telugu cinema currently. Magadheera produced by Allu Aravind proved the stamina of Telugu cinema and all other film industries started looking towards Tollywood. He went on to produce Ghajini with Aamir Khan in Hindi which marked Rs 100 crores share.
Along with Mega actors, Allu Aravind also worked with actors like Nani, Sharwanand and Vijay Devarakonda. His last production Geetha Govindam raked Rs 70 crores share after it was made on a budget of Rs 10 crores. Allu Aravind is celebrating his 70th birthday today and wishing him all the best for his future endeavours.
