The biopic of legendary politician YS Rajasekhar Reddy has been on cards from the past few years. However no filmmaker could make a film on the ace politician. Now young and promising director Mahi V Raghav is gearing up for the biopic after an intensive research on the life of the legendary politician. The entire script work of the film has been wrapped up after which the young director started hunting for the lead actor. Malayalam Superstar Mammotty has been roped in to reprise the role of YSR on screen.

Mahi V Raghav narrated the script recently after which Mammootty gave his nod. The movie has been titled Yatra and the regular shoot will commence from June this year. The other lead actors are not been locked and Mahi is currently busy finalizing them. Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy will jointly produce this prestigious project and Yatra will release during the first half of 2019. More details about the project to be announced officially soon.
