Analysis

Siddhartha Movie Review

The first half of Siddhartha has been decent and impressive with balanced narration. The songs have been shot well and the action episodes elevate the film well. The entertainment along with the interesting narration make the audience get impressed. The interval episodes make the film interesting and on the whole the first half of Siddhartha has its moments to entertain the audience and keep them engaged.

However after a decent first half, the second half of Siddhartha falls flat because of the dragged narration. The levels of entertainment dip down and the movie turns a boring feast all of a sudden. Siddhartha even dips down during the pre-climax episodes and the climax of the film has been decent. On the whole the second half of Siddhartha has been a massive debacle.

Performance

Sagar makes an impressive debut as an actor and he excelled in his assigned role with perfection. His body language and his screen presence have been perfect and he is here to stay if he selects the right scripts. Ragini has been decent in her limited role and Ranadhir, Ajay delivered out their best in the powerful roles. Satyam Rajesh brings out some smiles and all the actors have been decent.

The story of Siddhartha has been decent however the second half of the film has not been taken enough care of. The screenplay has been clinched and the dialogues have been ok. The music and the background score have been ok and the cinematography has been decent. The production values looked lavish and the director fails to maintain the stability during the second half.

Final Word

Siddhartha is a movie that has a decent first half however a clumsy and badly written second half makes the film fall flat.
