Without any doubt, we can say that most of Indian labours and skilled workers have been working in the gulf countries, especially in Saudi Arabia Kingdom. Due to some strict laws prevailing in the kingdom, the migrants have been facing some troubles with respect to their employment in offices, homes and other industrial sites.

Recently, a report published by a local media mentioned that India has suspended its people leaving to the kingdom, citing a Saudi labour directive that 25 percent of all foreign manpower must be housemaids.

The news has been said to be a baseless and unauthentic information as the spokesperson of Indian embassy Hifzur Rahman, clearly stated “The Indian government has not issued any statement that suspends sending workers to the kingdom. Any such report is planted and misleading."

In fact, Indians are the largest expatriate group in the kingdom, nearly with 2.8 million population.
